Finance is a discipline dealing with the allocation of funds within an organization and the acquisition of funds to meet its current and future needs.

The finance certifications are designed for students who are interested in financial management as it relates to both financial and non-financial firms. Areas of emphasis included within the finance specialization are business financial analysis and management, investment analysis and management, financial markets and institutions management, risk analysis and management, and personal financial planning. Career opportunities associated with the finance specialization include, but are not restricted to, the following: cash management, credit management, financial analysis, capital budgeting, investment analysis, securities analysis, portfolio management, securities brokering, commercial lending and loan management, retail bank management, risk management, insurance company operations and management, and personal financial planning and management.

CERTIFYING EXAMINATION
To be certified as CCFA student should take up a 4 hour exam at the designated examination centers. The exam would consist of 80 multiple choice questions.

Module 2: Corporate Finance
Module 3: Financial Statement Analysis
Module 4: Financial & Management Accounting

CIFP is the next level of certification of CCFA. Students should get first CCFA certified. Students pursuing CIFP need to pass the following additional modules:
Module 5: International Financial Management
Module 6: Multinational Corporate Finance
