Certified Quantitative Risk Assessment Professional/Manager (CQRAP)™/(CQRAM)™
The Certified Quantitative Risk Assessment Professional/Manager (CQRAP)™/(CQRAM)™ certification program is a globally relevant and analytically rigorous qualification designed for individuals seeking to build or advance careers in risk analysis, safety engineering, and decision science. In today’s complex and high-risk environments—across industries such as oil & gas, energy, finance, healthcare, and infrastructure—organizations must quantify risks accurately to make informed decisions and ensure operational resilience. Quantitative risk assessment (QRA) provides a structured, data-driven approach to evaluating uncertainties, analyzing potential impacts, and optimizing risk management strategies. This program equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform and manage quantitative risk assessments effectively.
Modern risk environments require advanced analytical tools, probabilistic modeling, and data-driven methodologies to assess uncertainties and predict outcomes. Professionals must be able to evaluate likelihoods, model consequences, interpret data, and design mitigation strategies that reduce exposure to risk. The CQRAP™/CQRAM™ program develops strong analytical capability, statistical understanding, and technical expertise in risk modeling and assessment techniques. It also emphasizes regulatory compliance, decision-making under uncertainty, and the integration of quantitative risk analysis into organizational strategies.
Quantitative risk assessment professionals play a critical role in helping organizations anticipate potential risks, optimize safety measures, and improve decision-making processes. They provide insights that support operational safety, financial stability, and strategic planning. Graduates of the CQRAP™/CQRAM™ program will be equipped to design, analyze, and manage quantitative risk assessment frameworks with precision, analytical rigor, and strategic insight.
Certification Program Objectives:
Upon completing the Certified Quantitative Risk Assessment Professional/Manager (CQRAP)™/(CQRAM)™ program, participants will be able to:
- Understand Risk Assessment Fundamentals – Apply core principles of risk identification, evaluation, and management.
- Analyze Probability and Consequences – Quantify likelihoods and impacts using statistical and analytical methods.
- Apply Risk Assessment Models and Techniques – Utilize quantitative tools such as fault tree analysis (FTA), event tree analysis (ETA), and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Collect and Analyze Data for Risk Assessment – Gather, process, and interpret data to support accurate risk evaluation.
- Develop Risk Mitigation and Management Strategies – Design and implement strategies to reduce and control identified risks.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Align risk assessment practices with industry standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
Certification Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for certification from The American Institute of Business and Management (AIBM) and its allied institutions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
And/or
- 0–4.9 years relevant experience for Professional level (CQRAP)™, or 5+ years for Manager level (CQRAM)™
Note: Applicants who do not hold a Bachelor’s degree but possess exceptional professional experience and hold significant positions within their organizations in a relevant field may also be considered for certification on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the AIBM evaluation committee.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CQRAP™/CQRAM™, student should take up a 1.5 hours online exam conducted by AIOGM.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
