Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM) is a comprehensive approach to comprehending and operating pipelines safely and reliably from beginning to end. PIM programs are management systems for pipeline owner-operators that consider all phases of the pipeline life cycle, including conception, engineering and design, construction, operation, inspection, and, if necessary, repair/replacement.

At the conclusion of this course, inspectors of pipeline integrity will be able to implement the best methods for managing data gathered from various inspection techniques and modeling potential failures. In addition, participants will learn how to maximize their inspection and maintenance resources in order to develop a comprehensive integrity management program for pipelines and associated facilities.
