Certified Carbon Verification & Compliance Specialist (CCVCS)™

The Certified Carbon Verification & Compliance Specialist (CCVCS) certification is a highly specialized credential developed for professionals tasked with validating carbon emissions data and ensuring adherence to international, national, and voluntary carbon regulations. As climate-related disclosures, emissions trading systems, and net-zero commitments become mandatory across sectors, the demand for professionals who can interpret carbon laws, audit emissions reports, and ensure regulatory compliance is growing rapidly. The CCVCS program provides deep, practical knowledge in carbon accounting verification, legal frameworks, compliance protocols, and third-party review procedures across diverse industries.

This certification equips participants to evaluate carbon footprints, ensure the integrity of GHG inventories, verify emissions disclosures, and assess conformance with applicable environmental policies such as the EU ETS, California Cap-and-Trade, ISO 14064, and the GHG Protocol. Whether working with public regulators, private companies, or carbon offset developers, CCVCS-certified professionals play a crucial role in maintaining transparency, accountability, and credibility in carbon-related reporting and regulation.
