Certified Advanced Carbon Accounting Consultant (CACAC)™
The Certified Advanced Carbon Accounting Consultant (CACAC) certification is a high-level, globally recognized credential designed to equip professionals with the technical, analytical, and strategic capabilities required to lead advanced carbon accounting and emissions reporting initiatives. As organizations around the world accelerate their climate strategies and prepare for increasingly stringent reporting requirements, there is a critical need for professionals who can navigate complex carbon accounting standards, quantify Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions with precision, and integrate carbon metrics into financial, operational, and sustainability reporting systems. The CACAC program is developed to meet that demand by offering deep, practical insights into advanced GHG inventory design, supply chain emissions, carbon intensity benchmarking, and enterprise-wide emissions data governance.
Participants in the CACAC program will gain expertise in applying sophisticated carbon accounting techniques, auditing carbon data systems, aligning with frameworks such as ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD, and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and guiding organizations through materiality analysis, net-zero pathways, and value chain emissions strategies. This certification is ideal for professionals who want to drive decarbonization through data accuracy, regulatory alignment, and strategic integration of carbon accounting into ESG, risk management, and corporate finance practices. Whether advising multinational corporations, managing enterprise emissions systems, or consulting on climate disclosures, CACAC-certified professionals are trusted to lead with integrity, accuracy, and foresight.
