Certified Derivatives Professional (CDP)
The Certified Derivatives Professional (CDP) professional certification program is designed to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required to excel in the field of derivatives. The program covers the basics of forwards, futures, and options, pricing and valuation, the Greeks, trading strategies, and swaps. The CDP certification program aims to equip candidates with the knowledge and skills required to excel in a career in derivatives.
Certification Program Objectives:
- Understand the basics of forwards, futures, and options
- Learn about pricing and valuation of derivatives
- Understand the concept of Greeks and how they impact option pricing
- Gain knowledge of trading strategies in derivatives
- Learn about different types of swaps and their applications in financial markets.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CDP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
