Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
The Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) certification program is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage environmental issues in a rapidly changing world. The growing concerns about climate change, pollution, and resource depletion have made environmental management a critical issue for organizations across various industries. As a CEP, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective environmental management approaches that not only mitigate potential environmental hazards but also promote environmental sustainability.
Certification Program Objectives:
- Understanding the theory, principles, and key concepts of environmental management, including the principles of sustainability.
- Developing and implementing effective environmental management approaches, such as environmental management systems, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
- Conducting environmental monitoring and assessment to identify and mitigate potential environmental hazards.
- Developing and implementing holistic environmental sustainability management strategies that take into account the social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainability.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CEP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
