Certified Ergonomics Assessment Professional (CEAP)

The Certified Ergonomics Assessment Professional (CEAP) certification program is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct effective ergonomic assessments in the workplace. As a CEAP, you will play a critical role in preventing workplace injuries and improving employee comfort and productivity.

Certification Program Objectives:

  • Understanding the basics of ergonomic assessment, including ergonomic risk factors, musculoskeletal disorders, and workplace design principles.
  • Conducting effective low back injury assessment using standardized tools and techniques.
  • Analyzing cognitive tasks and their impact on employee performance, safety, and well-being.
  • Applying subjective scales of effort and workload assessment to evaluate the physical and mental demands of work tasks.

Certifying Examination:

  • To be certified as CEAP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
  • The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
  • Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
