Certified Hair Stylist (CHS)

The Certified Hair Stylist (CHS) program is meticulously designed to provide individuals with comprehensive expertise in the art and science of hair styling. Certification Program Objectives:

Upon completing the Certified Hair Stylist (CHS) program, participants will be able to:

  • Create Flawless Haircuts: Gain proficiency in precision cutting, layering, and texturizing for diverse client needs.
  • Excel in Hair Color and Chemical Treatments: Learn hair color theory, dyeing techniques, chemical straightening, and perming.
  • Craft Stunning Updos: Acquire skills in blow-drying, curling, braiding, and creating bridal and special occasion updos.

Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

And/or

  • 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience

Certifying Examination:

  • To be certified as CHS, student should take up a 1.5 hours online exam conducted by AIPC.
  • The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
  • Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
