Certified Hair Stylist (CHS)

Hair stylists are accountable for their clients’ safety as well as the health and appearance of their hair. You will require training and a license before performing a radical asymmetrical cut or perm.

As a budding stylist, you’ll be encouraged to realize your potential in a welcoming and nurturing environment. You will be able to choose whether you want to work in hair salons, spas, or other businesses with the necessary apprenticeship component of the certification.

Certification Program Objectives:

  • The ability of the student to adjust to varied and evolving technology, applications, and methods in the hair styling industry, as well as to create and present a plan detailing future professional development, has been consistently shown.
  • The student has consistently shown that they are able to recognize, pick, and use a variety of instruments to cut hair in accordance with the wants and demands of the customer.
  • The ability to choose and apply common and specialized styling methods to successfully style wet and dry hair has been consistently demonstrated by the student.
