Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP)
As IoT evolves into much larger-scale business applications in healthcare, manufacturing, and virtually every industry imaginable, a general understanding of the technologies, tools, and methods that comprise IoT is more important than ever. The Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP) certification is a comprehensive certification designed to verify that individuals in a wide variety of job roles have a solid comprehension of the key concepts and components that make up an IoT ecosystem. IT professionals frequently have little or no experience working with embedded systems, sensor networks, actuators, real-time systems, and other Internet of Things (IoT) components; therefore, this course provides a one-step foundation for understanding how these essential components interact with systems with which IT professionals are more familiar, such as networks, cloud computing, and applications running on servers, desktop computers, and mobile devices.
AIBM has a “learn to ace” philosophy, and our team consists of professional and expert educators who ensure that your abilities and skills are enhanced by effectively acquiring course-specific knowledge. Participants will learn general strategies for planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining an IoT system by building an IoT device based on an ESP8266 microcontroller, including analog and digital sensors, a web-based interface, MQTT messaging, and data encryption for better comprehension. Lastly, our course will effectively teach you how to take an idea and transform it into a solution from the ground up.
Certification Program Objectives:
- Create and implement an effective IoT implementation strategy.
- Adaptively design and configure an IoT device.
- Utilize both wired and wireless connections for IoT device communication.
- Perform sensor input processing and actuator control.
- Security, privacy, and safety risks associated with IoT initiatives must be managed.
- Manage an IoT development and prototyping project throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CIoTP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
