Certified Islamic Wealth Management Professional (CIWMP)
The Certified Islamic Wealth Management Professional (CIWMP) professional certification program focuses on providing an in-depth understanding of Islamic wealth management principles and practices. The program covers various topics related to managing wealth in accordance with Islamic principles, such as equities and real estate management, sukuk and Islamic funds management, private equity and venture capital, and hedge funds. Through these modules, candidates will gain knowledge and expertise in Islamic finance and investments to provide advisory and management services to clients seeking to invest their wealth in a Shariah-compliant manner.
Certification Program Objectives:
- Understand the principles of equities and real estate management in Islamic finance.
- Develop skills in managing Islamic funds and investments in compliance with Shariah principles.
- Learn about private equity and venture capital investments in Islamic finance.
- Gain knowledge of hedge funds and their role in Islamic wealth management.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CIWMP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
