Certified Lean Transportation Management Professional (CLTMP)
The Certified Green Logistics Professional (CGLP) professional certification is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage logistics and transportation operations with a focus on sustainability. The program covers the important role of green logistics and transportation in sustainable supply chains and explores various strategies and techniques for achieving environmental sustainability in logistics operations. The program is divided into four modules, which include green logistics network, green land transportation, and greening demand chains in urban passenger transport. By completing the certification, individuals will be equipped to develop and implement green logistics strategies, reduce environmental impact, and improve overall sustainability in logistics and transportation operations.
Certification Program Objectives:
- Understand the principles and concepts of Lean and how they apply to transportation management.
- Learn the fundamentals of transportation, including modes of transportation, freight transportation, and transportation management.
- Understand the key components of transportation management, including transportation planning, carrier selection, and cost management.
- Learn how to apply Lean principles to transportation management processes, including process improvement, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as CLTMP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
