Certified Management Accounting Professional (CMAP)

The Certified Management Accounting Professional (CMAP) professional certification program equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of management accounting. The program covers various topics, including cost analysis, costing products and services, planning and control processes, and decision making. By the end of the program, candidates will have a strong understanding of how management accounting fits into the broader business context and how to make data-driven decisions that drive business success.

Certification Program Objectives:

  1. Develop an understanding of the basics of management accounting and cost analysis
  2. Learn about the different methods of product and service costing
  3. Understand the role of management accounting in the planning and control processes

Certifying Examination:

  • To be certified as CMAP, student should take up a 1.5 hours exam at the designated examination centers.
  • The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
  • Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
