Certified Supply Chain Risk Professional/Manager (CSCRP)™/(CSCRM)™
Certification Objectives:
Upon completing the Certified Supply Chain Risk Professional/Manager (CSCRP)™/(CSCRM)™ program, participants will be able to:
- Understand Supply Chain Risk – Analyze the nature, sources, and impact of risks across procurement, production, logistics, supplier networks, and distribution systems.
- Perform Risk Assessment and Analysis – Identify vulnerabilities, assess probability and impact, and apply structured analytical methods to evaluate supply chain risk exposure.
- Develop Risk Mitigation and Strategy – Design risk treatment plans, mitigation measures, contingency frameworks, and strategic responses that reduce disruption impact.
- Manage Crisis Situations in Supply Chains – Apply crisis management principles to prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions and unexpected events.
- Build Supply Chain Resilience Plans – Develop resilience planning frameworks that enhance continuity, adaptability, recovery speed, and long-term operational stability.
- Apply Global Supply Chain Risk Management Practices – Understand global risk factors such as geopolitical events, trade restrictions, cross-border compliance issues, and international logistics disruptions in managing complex supply networks.
Certification Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for certification from The American Institute of Business and Management (AIBM) and its allied institutions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
And/or
- 0–4.9 years relevant experience for Professional level (CSCRP)™, or 5+ years for Manager level (CSCRM)™
Note: Applicants who do not hold a Bachelor’s degree but possess exceptional professional experience and hold significant positions within their organizations in a relevant field may also be considered for certification on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the AIBM evaluation committee.
Certifying Examination:
- To be certified as (CSCRP)™/(CSCRM)™, student should take up a 1.5 hours online exam conducted by AIPLM.
- The qualifying exam would consist of 50 multiple choice questions, testing core certification modules.
- Professionals with relevant experience and other qualifying criteria may be exempted from the examination.
